Rules for transporting unaccompanied children.

Rules for transporting unaccompanied children.

With the summer holidays underway, there are many questions about transporting the children themselves. This is possible with our company subject to specific rules, which can be found on this page. These must be strictly adhered to, otherwise such transport is not possible.

The transport of unaccompanied children is divided into two categories based on age.

1) Children under 12 years of age, where the following rules apply:
a) The legal guardian of a child under 18 years of age must inform us in advance.
b) The person under 12 years of age must have valid travel documents (passport or ID card).
c) Unless otherwise individually arranged with the carrier, a person under the age of 12 must be accompanied to the departure point and must be met at the destination station by a pick-up person at least 20 minutes before their scheduled arrival.
d) A valid telephone number of the person who will accompany the child to the departure must always be provided with the reservation.
e) The accompanying person under 12 years of age must give the driver a power of attorney (downloadable here) at check-in, including valid contact details.
f) A person under the age of 12 will be seated at the front of the bus under the constant supervision of security cameras.
g) When transporting a person under 12 years of age, there is an obligation to reserve a second seat so that the child sits alone. The price of the extra seat is charged according to the tariff 1100CZK/51CHF/51EUR. In case of more than one child, this fee is charged only once.
